Volunteering for your Member of Parliament is an effective way to serve our community, learn new skills and meet interesting people. No matter your age or professional skills there are a number of ways you can become involved. So if you are looking for a challenge, have some spare time and are keen to be part of Colin's team please get involved! Below are a few suggestions of how you can help.
Promote awareness in the community of local issues and events. Colin is regularly hosting exciting events and initiatives in the local area. You may be able to help disperse information around the electorate. This work may include distributing posters, letterboxing and doorknocking.
Translations. Are you bi lingual? Colin is looking for people to assist with translating work.
Fundraise for local causes. Help on a community BBQ or street stall.
Research. There are a number of emerging issues in the Bundoora Electorate. Please come into our office and help us research what matters to the local community and solutions for the challenges we face.
Office administration work. Come into our office and help with daily office jobs such as collating newspaper clips, filing and mail outs.
