Great news for cyclists: the Andrews Labor Government has funded the installation of a Parkiteer Cage at Watsonia Station.

On 24 June I had the privilege to officially open the new cage with Local Councillor, Rick Garotti, and representatived from Public Transport Victoria and Bicycle Network.

The Parkiteer Cages allow cyclists to ride to the station and securely park their bikes before jumping on a train. This will help to reduce pressure on parking at the station by encouraging more people to ride.
