In the 2017-18 Victorian Budget, the Victorian Government has committed $2.2 billion to upgrade 13 key arterial routes across the northern and south-eastern suburbs.

This includes the much anticipated duplication of Childs Road between Beaumont Crescent to Prince of Wales Avenue. This means getting rid of the bottleneck over the Darebin Creek. A big thank you to Member for Mill Park, Lily D’Ambrosio MP, for her strong advocacy in getting this project funded.
